Delivery of your Order
We offer FREE postage on all Australian orders over $100. WE DO SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. Please email for a quote.
Once you place your order and the payment has been cleared your goods will be dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. All our orders are despatched from our office in Mona Vale, Sydney.
For Australian orders we use Australia Post Registered Parcel service. For International deliveries we use Australia Post International Signed For delivery. If you have not received your purchase within 10 working days, please notify us by email [email protected]
Your order should arrive within the Australia Post stipulated timeframe for Express Post parcels (see www.auspost.com.au for details). Deliveries to the rest of the world can take up to 2 to 3 weeks. We are unable to accept responsibility for goods lost by Australia Post.
Payment
All orders are processed in Australian Dollars and include GST.
Orders outside of Australia are subject to local import duties and taxes which are payable upon receipt. Unfortunately, as we can’t control these charges, any extra cost will need to be covered by the customer. Your package will not be released from customs until these payments are made. Paper Windmill is unable to advise how much these duties will cost - you will need to contact the relevant customs department in your country.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept the major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, as well as direct PayPal account payments.
Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?
No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. However, if you already have a PayPal account, you may use it as your payment method.
How secure is this store?
All payments are processed via PayPal, one of the most trusted payment gateways in the world. PayPal uses the highest level of encryption and data security to ensure your details are protected. Paypal securely shares your order and delivery details with us, but does not share any of your sensitive payment information.
Returns
Got a problem with your order?
We believe in beautiful, quality products. However we will really not be happy until you are. We offer a full refund or exchange (excluding package + postage costs) if you are not entirely satisfied with your product. We do have a few rules:
1. Returns must be made in writing by email within 10 days of purchase. You must contact us to obtain a Return Authority Number. This number must be included on the return parcel. Email us at [email protected] to organise a return.
2. The item is unused, unworn and in brand new condition with packaging intact and the original labels attached.
3. Return postage is at the buyers expense unless the product is deemed to be faulty. You must ask for a proof of postage from the Post Office as we cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit.
Postage will only be refunded if an item is faulty. Please also let us know why you are returning your products (it helps make us better).
We are unable to offer you a refund or exchange on made-to-order products unless they are faulty.
Refunds will be processed via Paypal.
Faulty or Damaged Items
Paper Windmill products are made using the higest quality materials. Any slight markings or variations are intentional. All items are thoroughly checked before sending and packaged with care. In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is faulty or damaged please contact us email and we will organise a replacement or refund for you.
Please Note: Faulty and damaged items are subject to the same conditions as returns and exchanges. If you receive a package which is visually damaged or opened insist that this is noted with the carrier before signing for your order. You will be required to follow the same steps as with Returns.
Care & Maintenence
All our products are made from the highest quality materials. Please take care of your product by following these few basic guidelines.
Leather Care
Clean your leather handbags frequently and with a proper leather cleaner. Use a soft cloth or microfibre cloth to clean off dirt every couple of weeks. Moisturising the leather with a proper leather cleaner will prolong the life of your bag.
When storing your bag, make sure you stuff it (using tissue paper, bubble wrap or similar). This prevents creasing in the leather and allows the bag to hold it’s shape. Store you leather bag in a dust bag to prevent scratching and dust. All our leather bags come with their own dust bag for storage.
If your leather bag gets very wet, make sure you dry it out throughly and clean and mositurise it before packing it away.
Avoid harsh chemicals because they are subject to damaging the product.
Jewellery Care
Silver will naturally dull or tarnish over time and it will take on a ‘matt’ appearance. Most silver jewellery is easily cleaned with a liquid soap ie. washing up detergent. Soak your pieces in a very warm solution of water and detergent, then rinse.
Avoid soaking any jewellery with cotton or silk details. Use a damp cloth if you need to clean the silk or cotton and do not rub the piece, just dab it.
Avoid using anything with abrasives as it can be damaging. Avoid wearing your jewellery near harsh chemicals.
After wearing, wipe with a soft polishing cloth and store in a jewellery box.
It is imperative that you follow our care and maintenance instructions for the best longevity of our product.
